I really enjoyed my stay at Catalonia Donosti, the facilities are great and the location is very nice and central but, undoubtedly, what surprised me most is the kindness and exquisite treatment of all the professionals who make up the team of the restaurant Aldapeta Gastrobar. My congratulations to all of them for making me feel at home.

The location, the facilities, the rooms, the staff… we could make an endless list of everything that refers to this splendid hotel, and we would always end up on the same note, 10.

Impressive views, being in the heart of San Sebastian. Do not forget to visit the penthouse terrace, where you will find the pool and a 360 image of the beautiful Donostia. The hotel has a SPA and gym on the first floor.

Se describen las actividades y desarrollos del Consorcio de Bibliotecas Académicas de Cataluña (CBUC). Los temas tratados son el interlending; el impacto de la crisis económica en las suscripciones; la preservación digital de las tesis; y la actualización de los softwares de los repositorios digitales (para TDX / TDR; MDC, búsqueda federada, y Recercat). Los usuarios de las bibliotecas de las universidades miembros del CBUC pueden solicitar y tomar prestados documentos de otras bibliotecas del CBUC, de forma gratuita en régimen de autoservicio (excepto los usuarios bloqueados en su institución, y teniendo en cuenta también que algunos documentos no son para préstamo). Las instituciones responden en caso de pérdida o no devolución de libros. Se presentan algunas estadísticas.

Los objetivos de este estudio fueron evaluar la prevalencia de las resistencias a fármacos del VIH-1 transmitidas (TDR) y de los subtipos del VIH-1 en pacientes recientemente infectados en Cataluña entre 2003 y 2005 y describir las características de estos pacientes según la presencia o ausencia de TDR y del subtipo del VIH-1.

De 182 pacientes recientemente infectados, 14 (7,7%) presentaban TDR. Siete (3,8%) tenían evidencia genotípica de TDR frente a inhibidores no nucleósidos de la transcriptasa inversa, 6 (3,3%) frente a inhibidores nucleósidos de la transcriptasa inversa, 3 (1,6%) frente a inhibidores de la proteasa (IP), y sólo 2 individuos (1,1%) presentaban TDR frente a más de una clase de fármacos. Treinta y cinco (19,2%) pacientes estaban infectados por un subtipo de VIH-1 no B.

Este es el primer estudio que estima la prevalencia de TDR en pacientes recientemente infectados en Cataluña. Los resultados son similares a los de estudios realizados en otras regiones españolas. El correcto seguimiento de estos parámetros requiere una vigilancia epidemiológica sistemática de las resistencias transmitidas.
